The Ivy League conjures up images of hallowed halls of academia, selectivity of admission, and the pursuit of academic excellence. The Oxbridge NYCE students all had the chance today to explore Ivy League institutions with the trips up north to Brown University in Providence, RI, and Yale University in New Haven, CT, and down south to Princeton University in NJ, and University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to the buses out of New York, one group crossed the street to explore Columbia University and took the subway to another great institution, New York University in lower Manhattan. Many students are sporting attire acquired in College bookstores up and down the East Coast! Next Tuesday is another day devoted to touring college campuses and seeing what kind of school would be the best fit for their tertiary education.
