Greetings to all NYCE 2019 Students and Parents!
Today, a group of students went for a run in Central Park with Activities Directors Ben and Brian (not pictured):
In the evening, students went to either the Empire State Building or Top of the Rock (at the Rockefeller Center). The Empire State Building is 1454 feet, or 443.2 meters tall, with a total of 102 floors. It is the second tallest building in New York, after One World Trade Center.
The Rockefeller Center includes 19 commercial buildings, where the Top of the Rock is located in an observation tower. The Rockefeller Center also used to be the location of Columbia University’s campus before the university moved to its current location in the early 1900s.
More photos will be added in tomorrow’s post!
