A (literal) field trip to Oxford’s Port Meadows was grounds for a lively debate in a lovely setting! A heated debate took place over the meaning of GDP and alternatives for our collective future.


This afternoon Dr Jasmine Jagger gave a lecture on ‘Edward Lear’s Feelings’. This was followed this evening with an excellent talk from our Critical Thinking teacher, Will Jefferson, who spoke on his research into the philosophy of empathy.

Students are now enjoying the pleasant Oxford evening after a day of rather unpredictable rain!
