Zoological Adventures

The Zoology Major class (most of them) at the Scott Polar Museum to learn about the epic journeys of scientific and geographical exploration of Scott, Amundsen and Shackleton.

This is a replica of the (tiny!) James Caird boat, in which Shackleton and 5 other men sailed 800 nautical miles across the Southern Ocean to arrange the rescue of their fellow shipmates.

Later in the day, activities director James took keen students to the museum, they took the opportunity to try on some polar expedition clothing making for an excellent photo snap!
