LOTS OF ART!!!

The Fine Arts students today sculpted the famous Villamayor stone in order to create sculptures such as the frog and conch shell which are iconic to Salamanca. This is the stone used to construct most of this city including the Cathedral and the University of Salamanca thereby making the students feel like true sculptors and builders of the city. Afterwards many of our students had an afternoon of outdoor sports down at the Salas Bajas sports complex. As the evening drew to a close, we had a guest speaker Serafin, who showed the students many instruments of Spanish origin and they had a blast playing the instruments and practicing different songs.
