No Crime too Big

On Thursday, the Law Major class tackled international crimes. The class split up into four small groups and researched a particular area of international criminal law, then delivered their own mini lectures to the class.

What are international crimes?

Where are they prosecuted, and by whom?

Punishments, deterrents, and intervention.

The Rationale for ICL

After a well deserved coffee break, we got straight back into things with a debate on whether the existing system of international criminal law effectively delivers justice for victims of war crimes.

A busy day for the lawyers!
