Architecture Major: first steps on the Market Square

Last week, after deciphering maps and directions that were drawn by staff from the College and CamTrad, the Architecture Major class ventured to Cambridge´s “Market square”. The class visited the square in order to create plan view drawings of how the square worked and how it is able to attract people into itself.

While at the square the students shopped, ate, and examined the workings of the market. Students successfully created the plan view drawings; including zoning and circulation diagrams. The way back to the College was animated by the exclusive translated version of the latest reggaeton hits by Dean Tapia, a Student in the class. He included a detailed explanation in English of Despacito´s lyrics.

Architecture, food from the market and reggaeton translations. The CamTrad way to Cambridge.
