The CamPrep students are already coming to the end of their first, action-packed, week here at Peterhouse! The day started with the final Major class of the week, was then perfectly rounded off by a delicious BBQ in the college Deer Park followed by a beach-themed disco.
The Veterinary Science students visited the Veterinary School lab today. They saw different animals, and then went to the lab to count cells under the microscope. Afterwards, they had a tour of the laboratory and other facilities.
There was a massive variety of BBQ food available in the Deer Park this evening, followed by a delicious range of desserts. Strawberries are in season at the moment in Cambridge, and there was no better place to enjoy strawberries and cream than the 800 year old Deer Park at Peterhouse!
This evening saw everyone get together for the Beach dance, which was a huge hit. The students were able to request their favourite songs, while dancing in a fantastically decorated room featuring inflatable flamingos, palm trees and some hanging pineapples!
There is a big trip and loads of planned activities tomorrow, so make sure to check it out tomorrow!
