Students in the Entrepreneurship class attended a networking event in downtown Los Angeles, sponsored by Google in conjunction with SiliconBeach.
Students were tasked with networking with entrepreneurs and gathering information about the stage of investment their companies are in (angel investment, series A,B or C funding), what their company does, and to talk about what some obstacles they have encountered have been.
Students were also able to demo 2VR equipment, and test out tech for the virtual reality market that Google is now entering. Despite their youth, the entrepreneurs at the event were genuinely interested in the opinions of our students as most of their technology is marketed towards their generation.
Afterwards, students had dinner at grand central market, where they enjoyed Mexican, and Japanese food, and finished off the night with some McConnell’s ice cream.
