Today everyone had an exciting excursion to Zamora, a town rich with history and the remains of roman structures. The classes took place throughout the town in places relevant to the class. Groups visited castles with moats, magnificent churches, street art alleys, and market centers of commerce.

Everyone enjoyed a delightful lunch in the plaza before heading to the river bordering Spain and Portugal for an afternoon of fun and swimming to hide from the heat. While there were some playing water games, tanning, or kayaking, a few students were able to swim across and touch Portugal! Everyone then jumped on a guided boat tour of the river where we got to see large birds of prey soaring high over the cliffs they call home.
